Full Uninstall

A "full uninstall" refers to completely removing the application from the computer along with manual deletion of any remnant directories. This can be useful for troubleshooting installation issues and providing a clean slate to start over from scratch when re-installing.

Current Versions

  1. Uninstall the application(s) as usual through the Windows Control Panel or Settings.

  2. Manually delete remnant directories (example below is for Fathom, but can be interchanged with another app like Arrow 11):

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Datacor\Fathom 14

    • C:\ProgramData\Datacor\Fathom 14

    • C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Datacor\Fathom\14

      • Fth_User14.DAT - This local user library containing custom junctions, fluids, pipe materials, and other settings can be saved if you want to use it again in the future.

    • C:\Users\username\Documents\Datacor\Fathom 14

If you were wanting to remove all Datacor Flow Simulation products from your PC then you could simply delete the directory one level up after uninstalling all apps first (i.e. the entire "Datacor" part of the directories like ProgramData\Datacor). Certain licensing folders apply to multiple Datacor Flow Simulation products and versions. If you are uninstalling all products then the following folders can also be deleted.

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Datacor

  • C:\ProgramData\Datacor

  • C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Datacor

  • C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Datacor

  • C:\Users\username\Documents\Datacor
