Junction X cavitates. Cavitation at Air Valve junctions can cause anomalous results which may be incorrect.
An Air Valve junction is designed to allow air into the pipe but cannot keep track of vapor forming at the junction due to low pressure. If cavitation is predicted at the junction, the valve is likely undersized and is not preventing vacuum conditions.
