Engineering Assumptions
AFT xStream is based on the following fundamental fluid mechanics assumptions:

One-dimensional flow

System is fluid-full
-
All gases are superheated (single phase)
-
No chemical reactions
-
No supersonic flow in the system
-
Pipes are rigid (pipe geometry does not change during the transient)
