Engineering Assumptions

AFT Arrow is based on the following fundamental fluid mechanics assumptions:

Compressible flow
Steady-state conditions (the XTS Module allows transient modeling through steady-state snapshots)
One-dimensional flow
System is fluid-full
All gases are superheated (single phase)
No chemical reactions
No supersonic flow in the system
