AFT Fathom is based on the following fundamental fluid mechanics assumptions:

• Incompressible flow

• Steady-state conditions (the XTS Module allows transient modeling through steady-state snapshots)

• One-dimensional flow

• System is fluid-full

• Fluid properties are single phase

• No chemical reactions
