Chempak Database Installation

In the 2025.08.29 release and later, the data files for the Chempak Fluid Library are packaged into the normal installer and no longer require running a separate installer. Access to using the Chempak data files still requires owning a license for the Chempak Database that is a paid add-on purchased separately. The Chempak data files are stored in two directories:

1. C:\ProgramData\Datacor\Default Supporting Files\Chempak Data

2. C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Datacor\Chempak Data

Location 1 contains master copies of the data files which get copied to location 2 by the application. The application will read and write to location 2. The fact that the app needs write permissions is the reason for using location 2, since location 1 will not have write permissions for typical non-admin users.
