Concentration Equation at a Branch

The concentration equation is a special version of the continuity equations. It is needed only when gas streams of different composition flow into the branch (i.e., a mixing calculation is occurring).

By applying the continuity equation at branch i, we loop over all connecting pipes for each molecular species c and can say that:
