Library Locations in General Preferences

To ensure accessibility by the model during an engineering analysis, the necessary engineering libraries must be connected in the Library Manager. Determining the necessary libraries requires loading the model first, creating a challenge.

To address this issue, create "Library Search Locations" in the User Options window, as shown in Figure 1. After specifying these locations, set them as the default by selecting Set As Default.

When a model requires specific libraries that aren't already connected, the software searches the specified Library Search Locations. Additionally, it checks the model's folder. If the libraries are found in any of these locations, they are automatically added to the list of connected libraries in the Library Manager. If a library cannot be located, a notification appears once the model is loaded.
