The basic method for obtaining property data is to do the following:

Select the water/steam property data source

Select the number and type of input property data points (single point, two points, or a range of points)

Select the input properties and units, and enter the property values

Calculate the output values
The following list shows the basic steps for obtaining property data. Note: If saturated properties are desired, one of the properties selected must be the input property and value for which the saturation properties are desired. The other property is then specified as Saturated Liquid or Saturated Vapor.
1) Select the property data source

Click on the property source drop-down box

Choose the desired property source name
2) Select the number of input values (Single Point, Two Points, or a Range of Points )

Select the appropriate option
3) Select the input properties

Click on the property drop-down boxes

Choose the desired property names
4) Select the input property values

For a single point calculation, enter the Property Value in the box next to the property name

For a range calculation, enter the Starting Value, Ending Value and Increment in the three boxes next to the Property Name
5) Select the input property units

Click on the unit drop-down box next to the property name

Choose the desired units
6) Select the output properties and units

Select Output Control from the Options menu, or click the Output Control button on the toolbar

Choose the desired output properties and units
7) Calculate the property values

Click on the Calculate button

The data will be shown in the display area at the bottom of the SteamCalc Window
